Everything Works Out in the End Lyrics

I never seen it coming, i couldn't read the signs
And now i know that it means nothing, but you are always on my mind
I got tricked into believing, you were the only one to leave
But the truth can be deceiving and i was just too young to seeYou told me everything works out in the end, everything works out in the end
You told me everything works out in the end, everything works out in the endYou got me tricked on the water, cause i never learnt to swim and now i know that it's all over
We better learn to start againYou told me everything works out in the end, everything works out in the end
You told me everything works out in the end, everything works out in the end
Mmmh

Growing up in houses just two minutes away from each other in Swords, a working class town near Dublin airport, Steve and Mark met aged eight, when they were the only boys in the school choir. Skip forward six years and they recruited Vinny, also situated a stones throw away and together set about forming the first of myriad bands. The line-up for Kodaline was recently completed by the addition of bassist Jason Boland. The band's name, incidentally, means absolutely nothing. For the moment they wanted something they could take ownership of.
