Everything a Heart Could Ever Want Lyrics

She comes home late
And Ive waited long
Then she sings me lines
From the songs I used to sing
When I was youngThen I feel alright
Cause shes that kind of girl
A woman child
A free young spiritIn a jaded world
And she knows me
Shows me
Lets me seeShes everything a heart could ever want
(Willow)
When I call her name
(Willow)
Will she still hear me whenShes everything a heart could ever want
(Willow)
When she looks at me
(Willow)

Her eyes just say it allShe always puts me right
When I turn up wrong
Never walks away
Her smile tells me
Im goin on and on and onIt gets real damn hard
To let your children grow
And when you make mistakes
Its the time you got to let em
Know you know you knowI wanna know her
Show her
I wanna let her seeShes everything a heart could ever want
(Willow)
When I call her name
(Willow)
Will she still hear me whenShes everything a heart could ever want
(Willow)
When she looks at me
(Willow)
Her eyes just say it allShes everything a heart could ever want
(Willow)
Shes sometimes strange
(Willow)
So please, please, please dont changeIt aint an easy thing to let a young bird fly
And when they spread their wings
For the very first time, you just wanna dieEverything a heart could ever want
I know shes everything a heart could ever want
Shes everything that a heart could ever want
