Exit At Gate Zero Lyrics

I got a phone call
And I am back on the street
Im throwing curses
At the people I meetI got a black heart
Working deep on the inside of me
'Coz Im back on the street
Where I swore that I would never beAnd now Im heading for shame
Yeah, what a game
I said Im back on the leash
'Coz Im always there to reachSee me on my knees
Im taking hits saying please
I got the spine of a snake
Think Ill give myself a breakI got a closet, baby
You wanna keep it shut
Im sentimental
But youre kicking me in the gutWhen Ive decided that
This is never gonna bring me down
You got me running to your door

Like a loser, got me running aroundAnd now I'm heading for shame
Yeah, what a game
I said Im back on the leash
'Coz I'm always there to reachSee me on my knees
Im taking hits saying please
I got the spine of a snake
Think Ill give myself a breakI'm gonna press my face to the mirror
Gonna shape things up
I'm gonna smash my fist through the door
'Coz Im cracking upI cant take take it anymore
I wanna let it go
But now Im running down the street
'Coz youre telling me I cant say noAnd now Im heading for shame
Yeah, what a game
I said, Im back on the leash
'Coz Im always there to reachSee me on my knees
Im taking hits saying please
I got the spine of a snake
Think Ill give myself a breakYeah, Im heading for shame
What a game
I said, Im back on the leash
Im always there to reach

Gluecifer was a hard rock band based in Oslo, Norway. Formed in 1994, they produced several underground releases during their first years of existence and soon claimed, with typical arrogance, to be "kings of rock". In 1997, the album "Ridin' the Tiger" (released by legendary record label White Jazz) provided an artistic and commercial breakthrough and placed Gluecifer among The Hellacopters from Sweden at the forefront of the Scandinavian hard rock wave of the late 90s.
