Exit (Call Me) Lyrics

Call me
(Call me)
If you wanna go, we don't have to stay
In a world that is slippin' away
Call me
(Call me)
If you wanna go, we don't have to stay
In a world that is slippin' awayFace the world my father told me
That life is mystical, beautiful bliss-full
Now, in troubled times, I find soul in reaching
What I'm seeking seems so far
Praise the world, my mother told me
That life's mechanical, so tyrannical
It blows my mind just what we'll be reaping
And weeping so help us GodNever knew that I could be looking why
Are so many breaking making castles of sand
Every man wanna be the one, wanna be the one to be
King for a day, but its slipping away

And I'm happy most melodical things I say
To release the pain and cease the rain
In my brainstorm, I can't hide from inside
Escape to the outside and I'll be flying awayCall me
(Call me)
If you wanna go, we don't have to stay
In a world that is slippin' away
Call me
(Call me)
If you wanna go, we don't have to stay
In a world that is slippin' awayNever know, never know
Whats right until you walking death
Everyday is just a struggle
We take till there's nothing left
When I wake up pray that
I can see the truth between the dark
For the rest that don't care
This a message straight to your heartNothing you say now can turn me away
I'm walking the path, never-let me a stray
Many they hold mics I don't know what to say
What's going on today?
And you walk to fast on the broken glass
On the smoking pass hoping that
Worshiping the cash but it never lasts
Won't you ask, what can we be?
Can we be free? Where can we go?Call me
(Call me)
If you wanna go, we don't have to stay
In a world that is slippin' away
Call me
(Call me)
If you wanna go, we don't have to stay
In a world that is slippin' awayCall me
Call me
(If you wanna go)
Call me
(You can call me if you wanna go)
Call me
Call me
Call me
Call me
Call meCall me
(Call me)
If you wanna go, we don't have to stay
In a world that is slippin' away
Call me
(Call me)
If you wanna go, we don't have to stay
In a world that is slippin' awayCall me
(Call me)
If you wanna go

k-os (born Kevin Brereton on February 20, 1972 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer of Trinidadian descent. His real name may also be cited as Kheaven, a spelling he adopted later.

The alias "k-os" is pronounced "chaos" and is an acronym for "Knowledge of Self," although in a later interview he also said that it stands for "Kheaven's Original Sound." His music incorporates a wide variety of music genres including but not limited to rap, funk, rock, and reggae. The lyrics frequently focus on promoting a "positive message" while at times expressing criticism of mainstream hip hop culture's obsession with money, fame and glorification of violence. A musician as well as a producer, k-os has written and produced a large portion of all four of his albums. k-os usually performs with a live band, something that is uncommon in the hip hop genre. He sometimes plays guitar and keyboard both during live performances and in the studio.

k-os received his first musical exposure with the single "Musical Essence," released in 1993. After the release of his second single "Rise Like The Sun" in 1996 he withdrew from the industry because he was dissatisfied with his musical style. He reappeared briefly in 1999 and released his debut album Exit in 2002. The album received positive reviews but sold relatively few copies. He released his second album Joyful Rebellion in 2004, which received platinum status in Canada. Joyful Rebellion received positive reviews, but at times was criticized for speaking extensively on the state of hip hop. k-os's third album, Atlantis: Hymns for Disco, was released in 2006, and his fourth album entitled Yes! was released in April of 2009.
