F.U. #8 Lyrics

how many times can this happen to me
when i've got places to go and i've got people to see
you stand me up
you let me down
how am i supposed to get myself across town
i'll give you my nickles and dimes
if i only thought that you were gonna be there on time
la la la
my nickels and dimes
well i could stand here wastin' my day
you're a half an hour late and you're still makin' me pay
you stand me up
you let me down
how am i supposed to get myself across town
i'll give you my nickles and dimes
if i only thought that you were gonna be there on time
la la la
my nickles and dimes

i'll give you my nickles and dimes
if i only thought that you were gonna be there on time
la la la
my nickles and dimes
i think i've been stood up
are you ever gonna come and pick me up
just standin' here wastin' my day
you're a half an hour late and you're still makin' me pay
i think i've been stood up
well are you ever gonna come and pick me up

The band's four-person, seven-layer-burrito came together organically: Lelah Maupin (drums) and Eric Randall (guitar) met in their native Longview, WA—two hours south of Seattle, the very town that Green Day named their breakout debut single after.
