Faint Green Light Lyrics

Old photographs
Litter your past
Broken ship masts
Lay scattered in the sea
What you do to me
I'd wipe the blood from your clothes,
I'd wipe the snot from your nose,
I'd keep the things that keep you from dreaming--
I'd wipe the blood from your clothes,
I'd wipe the snot from your nose,
I'd keep the things that keep you from dreaming
I've seen the ending
It's not pretty pictures burning
Yet we still drive onwards
Towards the cooling twilight
It's all over, crashing down

All around--
You're broken down
It's nothing new
I love you now
Is that enough, isn't that enough
can't help the past
So don't let it last
whoa oh oh
I'd wipe the blood from your clothes,
I'd wipe the snot from your nose,
I'd keep the things that keep you from dreaming--
I'd wipe the blood from your clothes,
I'd wipe the snot from your nose,
I'd keep the things that keep you from dreaming
I've seen the ending
It's not pretty pictures burning
Yet we still drive onwards
Towards the cooling twilight
It's all over
crashing down
All around
Your shadow dim and drifts
Till there's nothing more
