Fake Love Lyrics

[Intro]
My life..
My life..
My life..
My life..
[Tony Yayo Intro]
Yeah..
Yeah..
Yeah..
[Chorus]
Fake love's when your homie give you dap
Smile in your face but he wants your ass clapped
Fake love..
Fake love's when they never be around
But once you get rich, they all get down
Fake love..

Fake love's when your friend fuck your bitch
Don't think with his head only think with his dick
Fake love..
So my friends enemies and my enemies be friends
Dont show no love, don't pretend
[Verse]
50 got Yayo gettin' all this cash
Now all these Yes men wanna kiss my ass
But back in the street you aint help me re-up
Locked up, i had court dates, you never showed up
What the fuck, tell me what you grinnin' at nigga
If i get killed, my stash, you spendin' that nigga
Some people want nutin' outta life
And some people want it all, let's ball
I see the jealousy and envy when you see me shoppin'
Saphire watch, got your jaw droppin'
When i move that 8th, you were 7 gram coppin'
You ain't happy for me, you hope that the Feds watchin'
I aint stoppin, homie i'm number one
Why you schemin' on me, i'm plain and dumb
So when it comes to the point, that you ready to flip
I'ma pull out first, and let off my clip, Take That!
[Verse]
Now your man ain't your man if he extortin' you nigga
And your man ain't your man if he shortenin' you nigga
Listen money talks, and bullshit run marathons
When your money's gone, thats when them hoes gon'
Fake love is when a nigga sets you up
How he knew about your chain when your ching was tucked
You know the type that rats you out, sell you out
Get locked, your man ain't gon' bail you out
You got a brand new whip, your shit is lovely
Yeah it's aight, but its rims is ugly
Fake friends, show fake love
You know the type of nigga that'll leave you in the club
Fake love..

Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975 in South Jamaica, Queens, New York), better known by his stage name 50 Cent, is a Grammy award nominated rapper, actor, singer, entrepreneur, author and founder of the hip hop group and label G-Unit. After leaving drug dealing to pursue a rap career, he released his debut album Guess Who's Back? in 2002. He was discovered by Eminem and Dr. Dre and then signed to Interscope Records. He has since released 2003's Get Rich or Die Tryin', 2005's The Massacre, 2007's Curtis and 2009's Before I Self Destruct.

50 Cent has engaged in feuds with other rappers including Jay-Z, Ja Rule, The Game, Cam'Ron, Fat Joe, and Rick Ross. He has also pursued an acting career, appearing in the semi-autobiographical film Get Rich or Die Tryin' in 2005, the Iraq War film Home of the Brave in 2006, and Righteous Kill in 2008. 50 Cent is one of the richest hip-hop performers, having a net worth estimated at US $440 million in 2008.

Before 50 Cent ever inked a major deal, he built up a substantial fan base in New York through underground mixtapes. 50 Cent met up with Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC and was signed to his label to write all of Jay’s music. After he’d left JMJ, he signed to Columbia Records in 1996. On this label, he released Power of the Dollar, and the singles How to Rob and Ghetto Qu’ran. Columbia Records released him from the label after being shot on May 24th, 2000.

Around this time, Eminem had heard one of 50 Cent’s demo tapes and expressed a huge interest in him on MTV, as did Dr Dre. Shortly after this, 50 Cent officially signed to Interscope Records. He was the first rapper to sign to the joint label owned by Dr Dre and Eminem. The first song he released on this record was entitled Wanksta and was featured on the 8 Mile soundtrack.

In its first week of release, his debut ”Get Rich Or Die Tryin’” sold 872,000 units - easily reaching Gold status. Within the second week it went Platinum (1 mil) and on April 12th, 2004 the RIAA certified it six times Platinum.

In 2005 he followed the success of his album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ with a new release - The Massacre (originally called St. Valentines Day Massacre until the release date was pushed back). The first single released off this, Disco Inferno, was a huge hit - he followed this hit up by the release of Candy Shop and then again with Just a Lil Bit.

In 2003 Interscope allowed 50 Cent to have his own label - G-Unit records. He first signed Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck as the established members of G-Unit. In 2004, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent had signed The Game under a joint venture.
