Fall In Line (live in studio) Lyrics

I've been fine here on my own.
In fact, I prefer to be alone.
From these signs that you have shown
Mixed up all I thought I'd known. You've been looking out for your own time.
I was merely wondering
If yours and mine could ever align.Saw you just the other day.
Caught you looking back my way.
Then to your friends as if to say.
Yeah, this just might turn out okay.I've been looking out for my own time.
But I've come around to thinking
if you were mine, that could be fine.I don't know you all that well,
Maybe
Could be something special, time will tell,
LadyPay no mind
There's no way that we will find it alone.
Nothing if we stall.
Heaven when we fall in line. You've been looking out for your own time.
I was merely wondering

If yours and mine could ever align.I don't know you all that well
Maybe
Could be something special, time will tell
BabyPay no mind
There's no way that we gon' find it alone.
Nothing if we stall.
Heaven when we fall in line.I'll try and show what this needs to survive
I'll let you know when we arrive
Listen, I will think of you only
Ain't you tired of lonely?
So do what is good for you .
I've seen the way you act.
You've been trying to attract me too.I don't know you all that well
Maybe
Could be something special, time will tell
LadyPay no mind
There's no way that we gon' find it alone.
Nothing if we stall.
Heaven when we fall in line.

Inspired by a vast variety of artists, from Brian Wilson to Stevie Wonder, singer/songwriter/pianist Matt Simons pushes himself to grow beyond those influences to find his own voice and create his own sound. Often compared to Jamie Cullum, John Mayer and Adam Levine, Simons also infuses his piano based pop-rock with hints of jazz and R&B. Much of 2011 was spent on tour. In addition to visiting most of the US, he ventured to the UK, Netherlands and Germany in support of his 2010 release, the EP Living Proof. 2012 sees the release of his follow up album, Pieces, dropping 6/19.
