Fallen Angel Lyrics

Fool in the night on the stair with the light by the window
Out in the jungle of life she was, yearning to go
All of the years I've been there for the tears, she will sell you
Out in the city she searched for the face that she knewDid you believe that a love so alive
Could be over?Caroline, fallen angel, Caroline
Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh
Fallen angel, I'm so lost
Tonight, lonely tonight, lonely tonightFool is the father who clings to the child he is losing
Mother too weary to question wisdom of youth
There with your head in your hand as you pray to her picture
Out in the rain she would search for somebody to holdDid you believe you could find
What you need with a stranger?Caroline, fallen angel, Caroline
Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh
Fallen angel, I'm so lost
Tonight, lonely tonight, lonely tonightDid you believe that a love so alive
Could be over?Caroline, fallen angel, Caroline
Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh
Fallen angel, I'm so lost

Tonight, lonely tonight, lonely tonightCaroline, fallen angel, Caroline
Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh
Fallen angel, I'm so lost

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).
