Fallen Lyrics

If you could see what I have seen
Would you take the dream?
Or would you drown?
No way for us
But one way back
Sweet misery
You have found
If you could see what I have seen
Don't let me fall, don't let me fall
If you could see what I have seen
Don't let me fall
I see a fire in your eyes
Burning us love that never dies
Lost in this place, forever more
Can't see you fame until we fall
Don't let me fall (killing me now, burning me down)
Don't let me fall
Misery now, holding me down

Right to the core
Consider pain until you fall
Consider pain until you fall (If you could see what I have seen)
Can't give up
Can't give it all
I give you????!
I see a fire in your eyes
Burning us love that never dies
Lost in this place, forever more
Can see your thing, until we fall
Don't let me fall (killing me now, holding me now)
Don't let me fall (misery now, order me now)
Right to the core.
Carying me now, holding me down
Don't let me fall
Misery now, holding me down
Right to the core
Can't get away
Can't get away
If you could see what I have seen
If you could see what I have seen

Fields of the Nephilim is a gothic rock band, active throughout the 1980s. They formed in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK in 1984. Carl McCoy, Gary Whisker, Tony Pettit and brothers Paul Wright and Alexander 'Nod' Wright were the starting lineup. Peter Yates joined by the time of their first release, replacing Gary Whisker. The band's name refers to magnetic fields and the biblical Nephilim race. Their sound was innovative in the gothic scene, incorporating heavy metal elements to make a hard, bass and guitar driven sound underneath McCoy's growled vocals.
