Far More Lyrics

Is this a sign of our demise?
Or is it just the opposite?
I love you and I miss you
What else is there to say?Takes a hell of a lot more to complete this
Far more, far more to recreate
Far more, far more, far more, far more
Far more, far more than we can takeWhen you decide how much time
Do you let, do you let, do you let
Do you let pass before? These false starts, these small meals
They're for my, for my starving hands
Just treading, just treading in shallow water
Avoiding the drop, the drop in the ocean floorFar more, far more, far more, far more
Far more, far more than we possess
How much, how much, how much
How much longer, girl?
How much longer do we need to wait? For a moment when the blare of the TV subsides
And the song fills the air, playing every night
The change in the key feels like a change in the seasonI pretend almost every, every other night

That this body in it's entirety
Belongs to me, every breath, it comes and goes
It comes and goes all nightWell, you can't dictate the way
The way I'm gonna feel no matter what
No matter what I'm forced to see
I'll be the one free of jealousyWell, you can't dictate the way
The way I'm gonna feel no matter what
No matter what I'm forced to see
I'll be the one free of jealousyFar more, far more, far more, far more
Far more, far more than we can take
So well, so well, so well rehearsed
I coordinated this kind of messI'll do it like, do it like, do it like, do it like
Do it like, do it like, do it like, do it like
Do it like we used to, like we used to doI love you and I miss you
What else is there to say?

(2003-2009) The Honorary Title was a folk-rock band from Brooklyn, New York composed of Jarrod Gorbel, Aaron Kamstra, Jon Wiley, and Adam Boyd. Gorbel has become known for his dark sense of humor, which often works its way into the band's songs. Their first release was a self-titled EP. But they received much attention and did major touring after they released a full length album on Doghouse Records in 2004 entitled Anything Else But the Truth, recorded in Nashville and New York with producer Roger Moutenot who has also worked with Yo La Tengo and Guster.
