Valravn combines its Danish and Faroese roots to create extraordinary folktronic. The band debuted in 2007 with the self-titled album Valravn. Their blend of electronics, raw energy and Nordic folk roots got their debut nominated for three Danish Music Awards. In 2009, the band released their wonderful second album Koder på snor ("Codes on a string") upon the world. Where their debut consisted mainly of interpretations of traditional Nordic songs, this time most songs were written by the band itself.
