Papar is a folk band from Iceland who play mostly covers. The band was formed in November 1986 on the Icelandic island of Vestmannaeyjar. Dan Cassidy (violin) is the brother of singer Eva Cassidy. Páll "palli" Eyjólfsson (electronic board/accordion)
