Feels Good Lyrics

I was looking hard for love then I found you
And when I found you, I just couldn't help but fall
You wrapped your arms around me
Ran your magic up and down me
Now I can finally say I've got it allBut I can't say it came easy but it's easy since it came
Now I can finally just lay back and smile
And I realize it may not last forever, but I sure do like this style
'Cause it feels good having it real good for a whileI tried so hard I feel like I deserve it
To have someone I need as much as you
The feel for love you taught me
It comes each time you want me
And leaves my body soft when you are throughBut I can't say it came easy but it's easy since it came
Now I can finally just lay back and smile
And I realize it may not last forever, but I sure do like this style
'Cause it feels good having it real good for a whileNo, I can't say it came easy but it's easy since it came
Now I can finally just lay back and smile
And I realize it may not last forever, but I sure do like this style
'Cause it feels good having it real good for a whileYes, it feels good having it real good

Yes, it feels good having it real good
Yes, it feels good having it real good

Dr. Hook (& The Medicine Show) were formed in Union City, New Jersey, USA in 1968. The original lineup consisted of Ray Sawyer, Dennis Locorierre, Bill Francis, John David and George Cummings - although there were countless lineup changes over the years.

Two years after Sawyer left in 1983 the band split up. Since then Sawyer has begun touring as "Dr Hook featuring Ray Sawyer" and Locorierre has also promoted himself as "The voice of Dr Hook".

Trivia: In a live webcast performance from Atlanta Bon Jovi performed "Sylvia's Mother" by Dr Hook - declaring the song "One we should have written".
