Fever Lyrics

There's a fever
On the freeway
In the mornin'
In the mornin'
And the lover
Smilin' for me
Without warnin'
Without warnin'
There's an outlaw
On the highway
And she's fallin'
And she's fallin'
Man, I must have been blind
To carry a torch, for most of my life
These days, I'm hangin' around
You're out of my heart and out of my town
There's a fever
On the freeway

In the mornin'
In the mornin'
And the lover
Smilin' for me
While she's fallin'
While she's fallin'
Man, I must have been blind
To carry a torch, for most of my life
These days I'm hangin' around
You're out of my heart and out of my town
There's a fever
On the freeway
In the mornin'
In the mornin'
And the lover
Smilin' for me
Without warnin'
Without warnin'
Man, I must have been blind
To carry a torch, for most of my life
These days I'm hangin' around
You're out of my heart and out of my town

Starsailor is a British post-britpop band that was heralded on the release of their debut single, "Fever," in February 2001 as "Britain's best new band". Since then Starsailor has continued the rich lineage of its predecessors such as Travis, Stereophonics and many others. Formed in Wigan, UK by music students James Walsh (vocals/guitar), James Stelfox (bass), and Ben Byrne (drums), the band went through several guitar-heavy embryonic lineups before the arrival of Barry Westhead (keyboards) cemented their sound.
