Fight For You Lyrics

Every story is an arrow pointing north
Every crash and every burn is a chance to start over
Every time that I say no and you say yes
When we disagree and it gets real messy, trust meOh, I'm gonna fight for you, even if I have to fight with you
That's what you gotta do when you love someone, when you love someone
Oh, I'm gonna fight for you, even if I have to fight with you
That's what you gotta do when you love someoneEvery shade of black and blue from falling down
You're ashamed and you're afraid I don't want you now, I do
You wait to hear me say I told you so
But you will only see me running towards you
Oh, I'm gonna fight for you, even if I have to fight with you
That's what you gotta do when you love someone, when you love someone
Oh, I'm gonna fight for you, even if I have to fight with you
That's what you gotta do when you love someoneGo ahead and kick and scream and try to walk away
Tell me what you really think and throw it in my face
Shut me up and hear me now no matter what you do
I'll never let you go, I'll never let you goOh, I'm gonna fight for you, even if I have to fight with you
That's what you gotta do when you love someone, when you love someone

Oh, I'm gonna fight for you, even if I have to fight with you
That's what you gotta do when you love someone
When you love someone, when you love someone
I'm gonna fight for you, even if I have to fight with you
That's what you gotta do when you love someone, when you love someone
I'm gonna fight for you, even if I have to fight with you
That's what you gotta do when you love someone
I'm gonna fight for you, even if

Singer/songwriter Tiffany Arbuckle-Lee fronted the Dove Award-winning alternative rock band Plumb during the late '90s, and adopted the name Plumb for her subsequent full-fledged solo career. She was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Atlanta, where she took several gigs as a backup singer and wound up touring in that capacity instead of going to college, as she'd planned. She relocated to Nashville, where she landed a record deal based on her session and backup work, and formed Plumb with neighbor/songwriter/producer Matt Bronleewe.
