Marc Maron is a stand up comic, writer, cultural critic, radio personality and, most recently, prominent podcaster. His comedy is a blend of self-deprecation, acerbic wit, philosophy and socio-political commentary. His ability to both engage his audience as a storyteller and make them feel uncomfortable with what he calls "comedy jazz" has built a selective and loyal fan base. In addition to appearing in countless clubs and comedy programs, he has been a frequent guest on shows such as Late Night with Conan O'Brien and was a regular guest on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.
