Fingers Crossed (feat. The Rant Band) Lyrics

I was pressed into service
thru no fault of my own
I was dragged from the gutter
by nefarious rogues
I dont like to dwell upon
what happened to me
from the land of the living
to the land of the lost
just a pawn in the system
oh oh got my fingers crossed
yeaI seen skulls I seen crossbones,
as near as I can see
I felt the cold cloak of terror
the ????.and ???.... got us thru
I ????for property
I am bold am I not
In a land unforgiving
from the land of the lost

With my faith in the balance
oh oh with my fingers crossesHang me high hang me high boy
Hang me high hang me high boy
Hang me high hang me high boy
Hang me high hang me high boy
yeaI danced with the elements
on a South China sea
I seen gold I seen silver
the fruits of our victories
Guilty or innocent
I ask this because
On the steps of a scaffold
am I not to be lost
So I made my confession oh oh with my fingers crossedHang me high hang me high boy
Hang me high hang me high boy
Hang me high hang me high boy
Hang me high hang me high boyFar away far away boy
far away far away boy
far away far away boy
far away far away boy
So I make my confession
with my fingers crossed
