Fire, Blood, the Earth and Sea Lyrics

Fire, the blood, the earth and the sea Lillian AxeAs the new moon came to rise
We set aside our earthly lies
To meet within an empty church
The hallowed ground could cleanse the curse of time
Cursed time
Please believe me when I say
That angels watch our backs today
Upon my lips the softest kiss
Beneath the altare where I was to lay
Unto me
Let me see
Unto me
Joining hands our souls were one
I felt the presence of the Son
And as the wind screamed through the door
The voices of my ghosts appeared to me
Unto me
Let me see

Am I aloneThe pround one spoke in a flery tongue
Lands of rape and deeds undone
But as the sadness gripped my heart
A comfort blanketed my thoughts
I could see the lying cheating
Faces of deceitful meetings
Bloodshed spread the word
My guide was there to hold me
Understood, understood, understood
You hurt but your pain is not unnoticed
When will you feel the peace, you have insideThe altar was the meeting place
With angels locked in a warm embrace
They banished every worried fear
And one by one they disappeared
Fire blood the earth and sea
All transformed in front of me
My life would never be the same
My brothers and I wept
Understood, understood, understood.
