Float Away Lyrics

I was so high I didn't see you there
You had it easy, I was weak and you were everything
And all those voices running wild through my head
They keep on tellin' me to pass right on across the edgeSo don't try to save me from myself
I'm falling away to somewhere else
I won't come down today
If you would cut me from my ties then I'll float awaySo leave me like you find me with, I'll go alone
No joyful celebration when our life has been all said and done
And I'll fall the darkness, you'll be free of this pain
And you won't have to worry anymore, won't have to take the blameSo don't try to save me from myself
I'm falling away to somewhere else
I won't come down today
If you would cut me from my ties, oh, I'll float away
Then I'll float away, so I'll float away, said I'll float away, yeahSo don't try to save me from myself
I'm falling away to somewhere else
I won't come down today
If you would cut me from my ties then I'll float awaySo don't try to save me from myself
I'm falling away to somewhere else

I won't come down today
Till you would cut me from my ties and I'll float away
Well, I'll float away 'cause I'll float away, well I'll float away
