Fly Away Home Lyrics

Standin' in the trees, I get lifted by the leaves
And carried away by the wind
Turning around, I touch down on the ground
And then I'm drifted away againYou've got to fly away on home, Hallelujah
Fly away, fly away on home
Get carried away by the windLooking out my window reflections of a rainbow
As the evening rain comes down
Trumpets start to blow and when them stars start glowin'
And my head gets lost in the soundYou've got to fly away on home, Hallelujah
Fly away, fly away on home
When that evening rain comes downYou've got to fly away on home, Hallelujah
Fly away, fly away on home
When that evening rain comes downLet your head get lost in the sound
When that evening rain comes down, fly away

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils were started in 1971 in Springfield, Missouri in an attempt by the singer/songwriter members to have a vehicle in which to display and promote their music. At first, they played in bars and on porches. However, a record executive from A&M records discovered the band, and they began their recording path. The original members of the band consisted of:
John Dillion - (vocals, guitars, mandolin, fiddle, piano, harp, autoharp, dulcimer, jawbone, percussion, keyboards)
