Nettai Tropical Jazz Big Band- Carlos Kanno, leader of the group Orquesta De La Luz, took the lead again in forming a new Latin Jazz Band consisting of 18 musicians in 1994. Through performing at numerous concerts and jazz festivals, the group released their indies album "Nettai Tropical Jazz Big Band -Live In Yokohama-" in 1997. The following year, the album was released throughout the United States from Tropical Jazz Label (RMM Record), and made their performance at the JVC Jazz Festival in New York City.
