Flying (Take 3) Lyrics

I'm flying across the ocean and I'm soaring
Back home to the place I was born
And probably raised and I'm flying
Across the mountains and valleys
Back home to the one that I love so happilyCan ya' blame me for feeling homesick
'Cause I've been away such a very long, long time
I served a while in the county jail
Five years for, for being hungry tired and poorOn and on, woh woh woh
You know, I will follow
With your buttons and your bowsOn and on, and on and on and on
You know, I will follow
With your buttons and your bowsOn and on
You know I will follow
With your buttons and your bowsI'm flying across the ocean
Goin' home, woh woh woh

There are more than one act with this name: 1) Faces were an early 1970s rock band formed in 1969 from the remaining members of Small Faces after Steve Marriott left to form Humble Pie; new members Ron Wood (guitar) and Rod Stewart (vocals) (both from The Jeff Beck Group) joined Ronnie Lane (bass), Ian McLagan (keyboards) and Kenny Jones (drums). The name The Faces refers to well known people about town, and the band's previous incarnation as the Small Faces also referred to the diminutive stature of the band members.
