Follow You, Follow Me Lyrics

Stay with me, my love
I hope you'll always be
Right here by my side
If ever I need youOh my love, in your arms
I feel so safe and so secure
Everyday is such a perfect day to spend
Alone with youI will follow you, will you follow me?
Everyday and night that we know will be
I will stay with you, will you stay with me?
Just one single tear in each passing yearWith the dark
I see so very clearly now
All my fears are drifting
By me so slowly now fading awayIf I can say the night is long
But you are near
Close I am though I'm better
For the smile you give and while I liveI will follow you, will you follow me?
Everyday and night that we know will be
I will stay with you, will you stay with me?

Just one single tear in each passing yearAnd I will follow you, will you follow me?
Everyday and night that we know will be
I will stay with you, will you stay with me?
Just one single tear in each passing yearI will follow you, will you follow me?
Everyday and night that we know will be
I will stay with you, will you stay with me?
Just one single tear in each passing yearI will follow you, will you follow me?
Everyday and night that we know will be
I will stay with you, will you stay with me?
Just one single tear in each passing year

Red House Painters was the name of an alternative rock group formed in 1989 in San Francisco by singer/songwriter Mark Kozelek, who is currently active in the band Sun Kil Moon, with part of the original RHP line-up. The band is described, along with Low and American Music Club, as one of the linchpins of the slowcore movement in alternative rock. Kozelek used this group primarily as a vehicle for his very personal and emotional songs of despair, pain and suffering.
