For the Kids (Acoustic) Lyrics

There's a little girl
and she's in for the fight of her life
Only six years old
facing down the future no fear in her eyes
Mama and Daddy prayin down on their knees
For a miracle in Memphis
Lord won't you help them pleaseChorus
For the kids
we trade all them tomorrow
and for the kids
we give our heart and soul
'cause their the heroes of our lives
fightin' to survive
so give all you can give
for the kidsthere's a little boy
and he's sittin' on his daddy's lap
he's smiles and laughs
and covers his head in a St. Jude ball cap

its been a long battle but he's gonna beat the odds
he's gonna make it outta there cause people care
And by the Grace of Godrepeat chorusand I sing for the ones whether far or near
we've gotta live so we can give it all the world
may hear hear music in their earsrepeat chorusso give all you can give
You gotta give all you can give
for the kids
ya for the kids
