Forest Lyrics

Water on my skin
I've been listening
To the weather report
Hoping that I hear some
News of recovery
But nothing reaches my ears
I'm waiting and the years keep passing
Foreign stand in the dark
Where we can see is stars
Try to find a way home
Realized we don't belong anywhere better
Than in the arms of each other
We took each other in
You were my heroin
We were flyingBut then fallingI was magnetised to something in your eyesNow, mine are looking - tears, tears, tearsWater on my face
I know I've lost the raceSomeone has my place
It's a hopeless caseIf I could cross the ocean in my head
I'd be there in your armsSo go as though I've never been gone

In the forest place
We took each other in
You were my heroin
We were flying
But then falling
I was magnetised to something in your eyes
Now, mine are looking - tears, tears, tears

Pascal Pinon are twins Jófríður and Ásthildur Ákadóttir from Reykjavík, Iceland. When they were fourteen they got together with two of their friends and decided to start a band. Using the instruments they had, the group played various local venues and started recording their first album. The self-titled effort was well-received, but by the end of the touring period the band comprised of just Jófríður and Ásthildur, and it remained this way from then on.
