Forever Texas Lyrics

First you say you want me
Then you don't want me really
Baby do I scare you
Am I talkin' too freely
I got no perspective
On the things that you lack
Baby I don't care
Just lie on your back
Baby I'm crazy
But lady I'm lazy
Amaze me
Baby I'm fading
My mind's all jaded
Amaze me
I'm so superstitious

So there's something you should know
The reason I'm doing you is
'Cause your friend said 'no'
I've been suicidal since
God I don't know when
So get down on your knees
Say your prayers Amen
Baby I'm crazy
Lady I'm lazy
Amaze me
Baby I'm faded
My mind's all jaded
Give me Texas wisdom
Massive systems
And a luscious behind
Mother said 'Son if you do it too long you'll go blind'
Baby I'm lazy
But lady I'm crazy
Amaze me
Baby I'm faded
My mind's all jaded
One, two
Everybody getting cash for the bung
Everybody wants to know how I'm hung
You can read it in the papers
I'm a giver not a taker
But it won't be the same
[Repeat...]

Robert Peter Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire) is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. While Williams' early pop career started with the hit boy band Take That, he has found far greater success since taking his leave in 1995. Williams has sold over 70 million records worldwide, which ranks him among the best-selling music artists worldwide. He is the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom and the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America.

Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the United Kingdom. He has also been honoured with seventeen BRIT Awards—more than any other artist—and seven ECHO Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted as the "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."

The Candy Songfacts reports that Williams teamed up with his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, to write the first single from his ninth studio album, Take The Crown. "Candy" will be released October 29, 2012.
