Forget Me Not Lyrics

Baby, baby, as I rock you gently
Right here in my arms
I promise to always be here for you
Keep you safe and warmSometimes in the middle of the night
I wake up cryin' when I think of how long
It took to find you
And now that I have I won't be movin' onNothing can ever separate us
We know where we belong
All I'm asking you, all I'm asking
Before this moment's goneForget me not
Don't forget what we got
Every day is surely but a dream
I found the sweetest of all thingsFor all my life you'll be my light
With every beat that's in your heart
Oh baby, please remember to
Forget me notTime is funny, time can fly
That's one thing for sure
I'll wake tomorrow, blink my eyes

See you standin' at that doorAnd I'll be lookin' at you
See the wonder of what love can be
Someday I might have to let you go
And that's just so hard to believeAnd if I do you'll know just
How much you mean to me
All I'll ask of you, all I'll ask you
Before I set you freeForget me not
Don't forget what we got
Every day is surely but a dream
I found the sweetest of all thingsFor all my life, you'll be my light
With every beat that's in your heart
Oh baby, please remember to
Forget me notForget me not
Forget me not
Oh, don't forget me baby, yeah
Before I set you free, yeahForget me not
Don't forget what we got
Every day is surely but a dream
I found the sweetest of all thingsForever more, I'll thee adore
With every beat that's in your heart
Oh baby, please remember to
Forget me notDon't forget what we got
With every beat that's in your heart
Oh baby, please remember toRemember it's in your heart
Remember it's in your heart
Forget me not

Céline Marie Claudette Dion, (born March 30, 1968 in Charlemagne, Quebec) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress. Born to a large, impoverished family, Dion emerged as a teenage star in the French-speaking world after her manager and future husband René Angélil mortgaged his home to finance her first record. In 1990, she released the anglophone album Unison, establishing herself as a viable pop artist in North America and other English-speaking areas of the world. Dion had first gained international recognition in the 1980s by winning both the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival and the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest.[6][7] Following a series of French albums in the early 1980s, she signed on to Sony Records in 1986. During the 1990s, with the help of Angélil, she achieved worldwide success with several English and French albums, becoming one of the most successful artists in music history. However, in 1999 at the height of her success, Dion announced a temporary retirement from entertainment in order to start a family and spend time with her husband, who had been diagnosed with cancer. She returned to the music scene in 2002 and signed a three-year (later extended to almost five years) contract to perform nightly in a five-star theatrical show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
