Forty Days Lyrics

I'm gonna give you 40 days,
To get back with me.I done called a gypsy woman on the telephone.
I'm gonna send out a world-wide who-do-that,
And do the very thing that I should, yeah.
I'm gonna sentence you to be back home in 40 days.Whew! 40 days!
(40 days)
I'm gonna sentence you to be back home in 40 days.
(40 days)I'm gonna send out a world-wide who-do-that,
And do everything that I should, yeah.
I'm gonna sentence you to be back home in 40 days.[Break]
I heard 'em talkin' to the judge in private,
Early this mornin'.
I heard they took it to the Sherriff,
Signed a warnin'.Again.
That'd be the very thing I said.
I'm gonna sentence you to be back in 40 days.Whew! 40 days!
(40 days)
Whew! 40 days!

(40 days)
I'm gonna sentence you to be back home in 40 days.
(40 days)I'm gonna send out a world-wide who-do-that,
And do everything that I should.
I'm gonna sentence you to be back home in 40 days.[Bridge]
Woah, 40 days.
Whew! 40 days!
(40 days)
I'm gonna sentence you to be back home in 40 days.
(40 days)I'm gonna? and get ya,
That'll be the very thing that I said, ya.
I'm gonna sentence you to be back home in 40 days.
(40 days)
