Fuel My Fire Lyrics

I've got a word of thanks
Thanks that I'd like to say
For the rage that I feel
For the rage that I feel todayGotta stack, gotta stack
Stack the chips on my shoulder
In everything I do, 'cause I made, I made, I made
The mistake the mistake of trusting youPeople like you just fuel my fire
People like you just fuelYeah my layers are thick
And I got a bad attitude
Yeah that knife in my back
Has fingerprints that belong to youGotta grudge gotta grudge gotta grudge
That I'm holding for as long as I live
'Cause you lied, you lied, you lied to my face
And that's something that I can't forgivePeople like you just fuel my fire
People like you just fuel my fire
Oh, people like you just fuel my fire
People like you just fuelLiar, liar, liar, liar, liarPeople like you just fuel my fire
People like you just fuel my fire

Oh, people like you just fuel my fire
People like you just fuelLiar, liar, you liar, you liar, liarPeople like you just fuel my fire
People like you just fuel my fire
People like you just fuel my fire
People like you just fuel

L7

L7 was a grunge band. The band was formed in 1985 by Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner, who were later joined by jennifer finch and Dee Plakas. They signed to Epitaph Records for their first album and to Sub Pop in 1989. The name is taken from a slang phrase from the 1950s which means "square," but is often mistaken for a reference to a sex position, also called "69". In 1991 the band formed Rock for Choice, a pro-choice women's rights group which was supported by other bands of that era, including Nirvana, Mudhoney, Pearl Jam, 7 Year Bitch.
