Full Steam Ahead Lyrics

Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Read the street like written words
Where fires of anger burn
Been here ten thousand times
When will you ever learn?
Here's the locomotive
Weighing down the track
Once you see what you have seen
There ain't no, no looking back

Full head of steam
Look out the wind blows high
Full head of steam
Grab your hat and wave goodbye
Full head of steam
Look out the wind blows high
Full head of steam
Grab your hat and wave goodbye
You did not ask to come to life
It's just the place you found
Since then it's been full steam ahead
You don't know where you're bound
Full head of steam
Look out the wind blows high
Full head of steam
Hell-bound freight to paradise
Full head of steam
Look out the wind blows high
Full head of steam
Hell-bound freight to paradise
Starlight pouring from a door
Where angels shrink in dread
Jack O' Diamonds walks tonight
His hunger must be fed
Full head of steam
Look out the wind blows high
Full head of steam
Run out of track, we're bound to fly
Full head of steam
Look out the wind blows high
Full head of steam
Run out of track, we're bound to fly
This shot is all you've got
In spite of what they say
Hold on to what you love
Until it's ripped away
Full head of steam
Look out the wind blows high
Full head of steam
Grab your hat and say goodnight
Full head of steam
Hell-bound freight to paradise
Full head of steam
Run out of track, we're bound to fly
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead
Full steam ahead

Mickey Hart (born September 11, 1943) Mickey Hart is best known for his nearly three decades as an integral part of an extraordinary expedition into the soul and spirit of music, disguised as the rock and roll band the Grateful Dead. As half of the percussion tandem known as the Rhythm Devils, Mickey and Bill Kreutzmann transcended the conventions of rock drumming. Their extended polyrhythmic excursions were highlights of Grateful Dead shows, introducing the band's audience to an ever-growing arsenal of percussion instruments from around the world.
