Funky, Funky, Xmas Lyrics

Ho, ho, ho, oh, Little Train, my little elf, another great Christmas
Ah, man, it's boring, it's boring, same thing every year
So, let's have a funky ChristmasHave a funky, funky Christmas
Have a funky, funky ChristmasNew Kids On The Block, let's rock, it's Christmas time
We're gonna celebrate it with a rhyme
Danny D, are you ready? Ready as I'll ever beSteady, you know it, Joey Joe is ready
Jordan and Jon, yeah, come on
We got a funky, funky Christmas going onHave a funky, funky Christmas
Have a funky, funky ChristmasFunky Christmas and a funky New Year
I swear we got ourselves a party here
Girls on the floor, knows our posse at the door
Should I stop? Nah cool, here's moreOf this song, a funky Christmas melody
'Cause Jordan K feels oh so Christmasey
Throw your hands in the air, now pause
Kick the ballistics Santa ClausHave a funky, funky Christmas
Have a funky, funky ChristmasSneaking downstairs on Christmas Eve
I saw a sight that you just wouldn't believe
St. Nick, by the fireplace

Dusting off his beard with a frown on his faceHe said, hay, said what? He said, you, I said what?
He said you left the fire burning and I burnt my box
So, now I've learned you've got to turn the fireplace down
So Santa won't get burnedHave a funky, funky Christmas
Have a funky, funky ChristmasYo, MC Santa, you didn't know my boy Donny
Could play percussion, did you?
I didn't have a clue
Yeah, get busy Donny
Hey, check this out Little Train
Ho ho ho, ho ho
Ho ho ho, ho ho
Ho ho ho, ho ho
Ho ho ho, break it downHave a funky, funky Christmas
Have a funky, funky ChristmasSlipping and sliding through the city streets
Of Bean Town, getting down to the Christmas beat
It's Danny D, I'm here with Christmas cheer
No feeling to end the party of the yearIt's going, I'm showing fresh rhymes I'm throwing
It's snowing outside but we ho-ho-hoing
Santa's on the way, sleigh bells are ringing
Swinging, everybody start singingHave a funky, funky Christmas
Have a funky, funky ChristmasIt's Christmas, can you swing this?
Funky dope jam top on your Christmas list, do you dig this?
Boy, there ain't no twist, just something you wish for
And you almost missed, huh
Funky Christmas and a happy New Year
How could you be booing it, when Donnie D's doing it?Have a funky, funky Christmas
Have a funky, funky ChristmasHo, ho, ho, this is the MC Santa Claus and my elf, Little Train
Yeah, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
We gonna kick the ballistics of our Christmas wishes
Where's my list?

New Kids On The Block (later NKOTB) is a successful boy band of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Assembled in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. in 1984 by producer Maurice Starr; the members consist of brothers Jordan Knight and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood. The group went on to sell over 70 million albums worldwide, generated hundreds of million of dollars of concert revenues, and roughly paved the way for acts like Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC.

New Kids were awkward and enthusiastic on their 1986 debut, which wasn't surprising considering that the oldest members were barely 16 years old. With their next album, 1988's Hangin' Tough, the group's image had toughened up and they had the material to support it. From the saccharine ballad "I'll Be Loving You Forever" to the title track's stab at funk, the band had a seemingly endless streak of hits in 1988 and 1989; their Christmas album even went double platinum. New Kid mania continued with 1990's Step by Step; even if it sold five million copies less than Hangin' Tough, it still sold three million copies. But that was the end of the road for their short time in the sun — they were the subject of an endless amount of jokes and were getting no respect. Besides, their audience was growing up. In 1994, they returned with the Starr-less Face the Music, which actually showed a remarkable musical maturity — they were a credible urban R&B outfit — but hardly sold anything, even if they were packing theaters on tour. In June of 1994, the band announced that it had acrimoniously parted ways and all of the members were pursuing solo careers

In 2008, the members regrouped, recorded and released their first single together as New Kids On The Block titled "Summertime" from their new album titled "The Block". "The Block" features artists such as Ne-Yo, Lady Gaga, New Edition, and Akon.
