Funny Not to Care Lyrics

It's funny not to care,
Yet to lose so much.
Like the way you do your hair,
Or what you like to eat for lunch.
I could use it to seduce you,
If the slightest desire was there.
It's funny not to care. It's funny to care,
Yet to know firsthand.
All the records that you shared,
Like Tom Petty and the band.
I'm embarrassed to have a preference,
For my favorite jeans you wear.
Oh, it's funny not to care.Chorus:
I'm sure I would,
No I wouldn't really want to now.
I never could,
No I couldn't really care for you.
I'm sure I would,

No I wouldn't really want to now.
'Cause you wasted my love,
And I sold it all to you. It's funny not to care,
And be so in touch.
To regret and be aware,
That I've lost so much.
For so long,
I tagged along,
Now I think that I haven't a prayer.
Oh, it's funny not to care.Chorus:
I'm sure I would,
No I wouldn't really want to now.
I never could,
No I couldn't really care for you.
I'm sure I would,
No I wouldn't really want to now.
I never could,
No I couldn't really care for you.
I'm sure I would,
No I wouldn't really want to now.
'Cause you've wasted my love,
And I sold it all to you.
Sold it all to you.

Lake Street Dive have been performing for nearly a decade after meeting as fellow students at the New England Conservatory in Boston. The band was hand picked by Minneapolis trumpet/guitar player Mike Olson and named after an actual neighborhood of seedy bars in his hometown. Vocalist Rachael Price came from outside Nashville, Tennessee, stand-up bassist Bridget Kearney was an Iowa native, while drummer Mike Calabrese called Philadelphia home. “I wasn’t only impressed with their musicianship,” says Olson, who acquired the nickname “McDuck” while at the conservatory for his reclusive ways.
