Game Don't Wait Lyrics

Yeah, I come to find out, all these years, man
The game won't wait no matter who you are
Where you are or how you are, the game won't wait
It's a cold thang, it's a cold game but you know how it is
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
Now all I, see is we the LBC, 213's
Cheese and please and the reason the season
The click's off the heezy, Mr. Warren G Z Gots
To make it easy, for Snoop D Z
They come back and drop raps and make snaps so easy

The most hunted, and most wanted
With a pocket full of hundreds, you know how we run it
Snoop D woop pass the M-I-C anticipation 213
We contemplate, and regulate, now we got the game tight
It's money to make, the game won't wait but you can wait for the game
Worldwide tour, with skirts screamin' our name
The hits don't stop because the game won't change
All we goin' to do is maintain, maintain
The hits don't stop because the game don't wait
I got no time for no payin' much rate
I gotta go out and buy some brand new clothes
Change my socks before they reveal my toes
The hits don't stop because the game don't wait
And the girls don't stop because the dick is straight
Let me teach you what I already know
The hits don't stop so it's time I go
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
Now it's the second time around ain't no phonies any fakes
Let me holla at cha tryin' to snake my stakes
You older than me, you say OG, you almost 40
Tryin' to stay young and sporty
Sport you roll me those and stay in ya place
Before you see all-stars, right up in ya face
Youngsta never bite the hand that's feeds you
Proceed to get back to your folks, the loccs that need you
We do, we always keep it on the true
213, that's the name of the crew, it's true
That the dirt I did as a kid got me caught up
But I was brought up with the M-O if a D-O, so play your info
Youngster I been doin' this before I hit the radizzo
Snoop D Z is off the heezey, so you can make mine, extra cheesy
The crew's a twist 'cuz it consists of 3 riders, eastsiders, one love
The hits don't stop because the game won't change
All we ever wanted was a small time rap chain
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
The shit keeps movin' it'll never stop
Long as we able to make hit roccs
Long as a papa can't stop my flow
The shit don't stop I gotta make my doe
The shit don't stop if you intend to take
The shit don't stop it's companies we break
Take all the money and toss them hoes
The shit don't stop that's just how it goes
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait
(The game don't wait)
Shit don't stop because the game don't wait

Warren Griffin III (born November 10, 1970 in Long Beach, California), better known simply as Warren G, is a Grammy award nominated American West Coast rapper, singer, DJ and producer signed to his own label, G-Funk Entertainment. In 1990, Warren G formed the group 213 with Nate Dogg and Snoop Dogg, and in 1994 he exploded onto the Long Beach rap scene with the smash single "Regulate," a duet with Nate Dogg, and its accompanying album, Regulate...G Funk Era. He has since released a further 8 albums on Death Row Records. He grew up in Long Beach listening to his parents' extensive collection of jazz, soul and funk records, also frequently hanging out at the local record store. As a teenager, he and his friends Nate Dogg and future superstar Snoop Dogg formed a rap group called 213, after their area code. Unfortunately, all three had brushes with the law and spent time in jail, which motivated them to get jobs, also working on their music on the side. Eventually, the V.I.P. record store allowed the trio to practice and record in a back room. It was here that Snoop cut the demo "Super Duper Snooper," which G played for his half-brother Dr. Dre at a party. Dre invited all three to his studio and wound up collaborating with Snoop on The Chronic. While G also made several contributions, he opted to develop his talents mostly outside of Dre's shadow. He honed his musical skills while producing such artists as MC Breed and 2Pac. A break came when his vocal collaboration with Mista Grimm, "Indo Smoke," appeared on the Poetic Justice soundtrack. Soon after that, G recorded his debut album for Death Row. "Regulate" appeared on the Above the Rim soundtrack and was released as a single. It quickly became a massive hit, peaking at #2 on the Billboard charts and pushing the album up to the same position. The album eventually went triple platinum, with "This D.J." becoming his second Top 10 hit.

Warren G took nearly three years to complete his second album, returning in the spring of 1997 with Take A Look Over Your Shoulder, which was greeted with decidedly mixed reviews and weak sales. I Want It All followed in 1999 with The Return of the Regulator appearing two years later. In 2005 he signed with Lightyear Enterntainment and released In the Mid-Nite Hour.
