Gentlemen Take Polaroids Lyrics

Now there's a girl about town
I'd like to know
I'd like to slip away with you
And if you said you love me
How could I mind?
Is there another side to everything you do?Take in the country air, you'll never winGentlemen take polaroids
They fall in love, they fall in loveBreathe life into me
Spin me around
And I'll just sit and wonder why
It's just a foreign town with a foreign mind
Why is everything so cut and dry?The taste of country air, you'll never knowGentlemen take polaroids
They fall in love, they fall in loveTake in the country air, you'll never winGentlemen take polaroids
They fall in love, they fall in love

British art rock band Japan was formed in 1974 in Lewisham, South London, England with original members David Sylvian (vocals, guitar), Mick Karn (bass guitar, saxophone), Richard Barbieri (keyboards), Rob Dean (guitar), and Steve Jansen (percussion). Dean left the band before the recording of Japan's final album, Tin Drum. Japan began playing glam rock, influenced by David Bowie, The New York Dolls and motown. Japan debuted on record with 1978's Adolescent Sex and subsequently Obscure Alternatives, which both sold well in the nation of Japan, though nowhere else.
