Get Away Lyrics

Baby, ya know
I been thinkin’ about you
And I been thinkin’
We should get togetha
But I know you got somebody
And I do too
But I got 1 question
Can ya get away?
I been lookin’ to get away from him
I been lookin’ to get away from her
Oh, we gots to find a way, babe
I been lookin’ to get away
Since I found you
Say whatever it is you need to say
'Cuz I’m thinkin’ ‘bout headin’ my way
This relationship is getting’ crazy
Lately, lately, lately
I, been feelin’ this way from back when

Now it’s time I turned you in
Maybe now baby we can be friends
Baby, baby, baby
I been lookin’ to get away from him
I been lookin’ to get away from her
Oh, we gots to find a way, babe
I been lookin’ to get away
Since I found you
I been lookin’ to get away from her
I been lookin’ to get away from him
Oh, we gots to find a way, babe
I been lookin’ to get away
Since I found you
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
Meet me up at the club momma
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
'Cuz I’m free, baby
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
Meet me up at the club momma
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
'Cuz I’m free, baby
Well what about my career, my man, my life
Baby I give you me, myself, and I and if you can get near me
There’ll be no more pain love
Well came on boy and love me, love me, love me
The more things change
I know, I know men play games
All I wanna know, are you the same
Take a chance girl and love me, love me, love me
I been lookin’ to get away from him
I been lookin’ to get away from her
Oh, we gots to find a way, babe
I been lookin’ to get away
Since I found you
I been lookin’ to get away from her
I been lookin’ to get away from him
Oh, we gots to find a way, babe
I been lookin’ to get away
Since I found you
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
Meet me up at the club momma
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
'Cuz I’m free, baby
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
Meet me up at the club momma
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
'Cuz I’m free, baby
I’m not ya man, so I’m feelin’ like a one night stand
I be convenient for the both, I know you feel me
Well come on let’s do this, no thought to it
Let’s give our love a chance
'Cuz you lovin’ me, kiss hug and love wit me
I’m trynna get away, you can’t get enough of me
Baby girl, I just wanna be free
Well come on boy and love me, love me, love me
I been lookin’ to get away from him
I been lookin’ to get away from her
Oh, we gots to find a way, babe
I been lookin’ to get away
Since I found you
I been lookin’ to get away from her
I been lookin’ to get away from him
Oh, we gots to find away, babe
I been lookin’ to get away
Since I found you
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
Meet me up at the club momma
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
'Cuz I’m free, baby
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
Meet me up at the club momma
Can ya get away? Get out tonight
'Cuz I’m free, baby

Snoop Dogg has changed his name to Snoop Lion.

Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr. (born October 20, 1971 in Long Beach, California, United States), better known by his stage name Snoop Dogg, is a Grammy award nominated rapper, producer and actor. Snoop is best known as a famous MC in the West Coast hip hop scene, and for being one of producer Dr. Dre's most notable protégés. He made his rap debut in 1992 on Dre's debut album The Chronic, and then released his debut album, Doggystyle, to much critical and public acclaim. His mother nicknamed him "Snoopy" as a child, and he took the stage name Snoop Doggy Dogg when he began recording. He changed his name to Snoop Dogg in 1996 when he left his original record label, Death Row Records, and signed with No Limit Records.

He has been affiliated with the Crips, a U.S. street gang. Several of his cousins, including RBX, Nate Dogg, Daz Dillinger, and Warren G are also hip hop artists and often collaborate with Snoop. In 2000, Snoop (as "Michael J. Corleone") directed Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle, a pornographic film produced by Hustler. This film, combining hip-hop with X-rated material, was a huge success and won "Top Selling Release of the Year" at the 2002 AVN Awards. Driven by this success, Snoop directed Snoop Dogg's Hustlaz: Diary of a Pimp in 2002 (this time using the nickname "Snoop Scorsese").

As a rapper, he is perhaps best known for his “lazy drawl” — a slurred, distinctively calm, laid-back, and rhythmically-complex lyrical delivery. His lyrics have often been criticized for their glorification of misogyny, violence and gangsterism; however, he is often credited for accurately portraying street slang and attitudes.
