Get Low Lyrics

Keep dreaming, gotta play to be in the game
Keep rolling, come and roll the dice
Amnishka you have never seemed so near yet so departed
You gaze across the water like a bird in a cage
You line up all the shoes you find washed up along the shingle
they never pair together only seem to end up single
Keep dreaming, gotta play to be in the game
Keep rolling, gotta roll the dice again
and some of the time you're gonna
Get low dreaming high
When you've got a goal, when you've got a plan
Don't let go there's still time for another roll
Now go and seek your fortune on the far side of the water
and come back in the summertime if we can drift together
Keep dreaming, of the picture beyond the frame
Keep rolling, you're a ball without a chain
Keep rolling
and some of the time you're gonna

Get low dreaming high
When you've got a goal, when you've got a plan
Don't let go there's still time for another roll, for another round
You'll get low dreaming high
When you've got a goal, when you've got a plan
Don't let go, keep dreaming
Gotta play to be in the game
Keep rolling, come and roll the dice
Amnishka you have never seemed so near yet so departed
Come back when you find something that can lace us both together
Keep dreaming, dream high
Keep rolling

Stornoway consists of singer and guitarist Brian Briggs, multi-instrumentalists Jon ouin and Oli Steadman, and the latter's brother Rob Steadman on drums. The band is often joined by trumpeter Adam Briggs and violinist Rahul Satija. Named after the Hebridean town on the Isle of Lewis, which appears on all UK televised weather reports and shipping forecasts, the group incorporates string instruments and keyboards, supported by a typical pop backline of guitar, drums, and bass guitar.
