Get Me Out Lyrics

There is nothing more for me to give
Took it all away and walked out again
No matter what you say to me
It's what you did
Face it, face it
I'm feeling confident it's going to end
You're crazy if you think that I am staying here
Nothing left for me to say I'm outta here
Outta here, outta here
You drive me straight into rage
I can't wait
Get me out of this place I don't want to be
Take me out of this place I don't want to be
Get me out of this place can't you hear me?
Get me out, get me out, get me out of here
Like a rat you put me in a maze
With every single turn it's only walls I face
Leaving me here to die without a trace

Face it, face it
I'm taking all the strength I have within
Push myself further than I've ever been
And I won't leave without you knowing this
Know this, know this
You drive me straight into rage
I can't wait, wait
Get me out of this place I don't want to be
Take me out of this place I don't want to be
Get me out of this place can't you hear me?
Get me out, get me out, get me out of here
Come and get me if you think you can
Think you can
I'll be right here where I've always been
Always been
I'll be the rat that gets away
Gets away
I'll be the rat that gets away
Gets away
Life's too short for all your time to throw away
You drive me straight into rage I can't wait
I can't wait to get out of here
You drive me straight into rage I can't wait
Get me out of this place I don't want to be
Take me out of this place I don't want to be
Get me out of this place can't you hear me?
Get me out, get me out, get me out of here
Get me out of this place
Must get out of this place
Take me out of this place
Get me out of this place
Must get out of this place
Take me out of this place

Stereomud released their first album, Perfect Self, on Columbia Records in 2001 and a video for the song "Pain" received airplay on MTV2. After extensive touring in support of that album, they went back into the studio, releasing Every Given Moment in April of 2003. After participating in the Jagermeister Music Tour with P.E., Breaking Benjamin, Systematic, and Saliva, Columbia Records cut their touring support, and dropped the band. Due to this, and an impending Life of Agony reunion, Stereomud went their separate ways in July of 2003, a mere 3 months after the release of Every Given Moment.
