Get Up Joseph (feat. Oak Ridge Boys) Lyrics

He was a Humble Soul
Jacob's Son, a lesser Man
Would'a cut and run
Mary with Child
Before they were wed
He knew just what to do
When the Angel saidGet Up Joseph, Get Up Joseph
Tarrey Not. Get Up Joseph
Mary's got
The Light of the world, waiting to be born
God's salvation, for the weak and worn
The Prince of Peace, gonna be here in the morn
So come on Joseph, Come on Joseph
Be Strong Joseph, Come on Joseph
Get on Joseph, Down resurrection roadThen Harrod's summoned
His wisest priest
He said what of this king
The Star in the East

Where does he lay?
I want to worship him too
But the angel said Joseph, you know that's not trueSo get up Joseph, Get up Joseph
Tarry not, Get up Joseph
Mother Mary's got
The Light of the world, in a manger born
Bread of life, for the weak and worn
He's the Prince of Peace, it's a brand new morn
Come on Joseph, Come on Joseph
Be strong Joseph, Be strong Joseph
Get on Joseph, down Resurrection RoadThey lived in exile, Til' the coast was clear
And that angel whispered, into Joseph's ear
This world's dying, to meet the Good News
So one more time, put on those walking shoes
And Get up Joseph, Get up Joseph
Tarry not, Get up Joseph
Get Up Joseph, The Savior's got
Rest for the weary, the tattered and torn
Sweet Salvation for the weak and worn
He's the Prince of Peace, gonna be a brand new morn'Come on Joseph, Come on Joseph
Be strong Joseph, Get on Joseph
Down Resurrection Road
Get up Joseph, Get up Joseph
Tarry not, Get up Joseph,
Get up Joseph, The Saviors got
Rest for the weary, the tattered and torn
Sweet Salvation for the weak and worn
He's the Prince of Peace
It's a brand new morn'Come on Joseph, Come on Joseph
Be strong Joseph, Be strong Joseph
Get on Joseph, Down Resurrection Road
Come on Joseph, Come on Joseph
Be strong Joseph, Be strong Joseph
Get on Joseph, Down Resurrection Road
Come on Joseph, Be strong Joseph,
Be Strong Joseph, Come on Joseph,
Get up right now Joseph, Get up Joseph
