Get a Job Lyrics

I'd love to stay and party but I've got to go to work
I'd love to stay and party but I've got to go to work
I'd love to stay and party but I've got to go to work
work work work work work work work work work work work work
I hear your laughing but I dont think its funny
What good can happen spending other peoples money, but
You've got to get a job
It was adorable when you were in your 20s
Not so cute anymore now that your pushing 30
You'd better get a job
Chorus
Cause you never know how its gona go
or its all gona end up tomorrow
You gotta try try try
I know its hard but
Your never know how its gona go end up tomorrow
You gotta try try try
Girl, you'd better get a job

Oh girl you need to work real hard
Just had your hair done but we're not asking for the rent
Poor little rich girl you dont know where the money went
You need to get a job
What kind of life is it when every days a weekend
how quickly we forget when Im at work your sleeping in
you need to get a job
Chorus
I'd love to stay and party but I gotta to go to work
I'd love to stay and party but I gotta to go to work
I'd love to stay and party but I've got to go to work
work work work work work work work work work work work work
Who's gona hire you with your lack of experience
Who's gona wire you the last of your inheritance
Girl you'd better get a job
Oh girl you need to work real hard
Girl you'd better get a job
Oh girl you need to work real hard
Cause you never know how its gona go
or its all gona end up tomorrow
You gotta try try try
I know its hard but
Your never know how its gona go end up tomorrow
You gotta try try try

Body Count is a crossover thrash band from the United States, best known for being fronted by Ice-T and causing a furor with the release of "Cop Killer" from their debut album, Body Count. Besides Ice-T, Body Count included Ernie-C (lead guitar), Mooseman (bass), Beatmaster V (drums) and D-Roc (rhythm guitar). Their album attacked, in graphic terms, various aspects of racism and criminality in South Central Los Angeles (now South Los Angeles), including corrupt police officers. A few months after Body Count was released, parent groups and other advocates began protesting "Cop Killer".
