Gettin' Married Has Made Us Strangers Lyrics

Maybe I should give your ring back
We were closer when our hearts were free
Gettin' married has made us strangers
We're not the lovers we used to beWe don't talk now like we used to
I don't know you and it breaks my heart
Gettin' married has made us strangers
The more I see you the more we drift apartAre you too used to me, am I too used to you?
Is it too late to save the tender love we knew?Kiss me darling like you used to
Let's be lovers like we were before
Gettin' married has made us strangers
Oh won't you say we'll be strangers no more?

Together the couple would get gigs on local tv and clubs. it wasn't until the success of Dottie’s singles "An Angel on Paper" and "Let Me Off At the Corner" did Dottie start to make a name for herself.
