Ghetto Girl Lyrics

Ghetto baby, lady
Lady
So tell me what's up with y'all
Can you keep it real?
Let me tell you what I feel
Man, let me set your mind at ease
I'm in need of something
That I lost along the way
You know that money's cool
But it makes my world so strange
Now I got ladies talking to me
But they ain't got shit to say
It's like I've come this far
Just to miss simpler days
I need to feel her tonight
Deeper love with honesty
I've seen a million girls
But there's just one kind for me

A ghetto girl, living in a ghetto world
I like her 'cause she keeps it real
She lets me know just how she feels
A ghetto girl, living in a ghetto world
She's the only one I need
She's the only one for me
She won't never leave me guessing
Always let me know the deal
You know that ghetto love
Is always on the real
She got inner city struggles
And her blood runs deep in me
So when we make love
We feel mad history
Well, I'm not trying to put nobody down
In this superficial world
But if you need deeper love
You better find you a ghetto girl
A ghetto girl, living in a ghetto world
I like her 'cause she keeps it real
She lets me know just how she feels
A ghetto girl, living in a ghetto world
She's the only one I need
She's the only one for me
Girl, if they tried
They would see you like I do
Hold your head up high
There's no one above you
With you by my side, girl
There's nothing that I can't do
I've been around the world enough for me to see
Boy, you best believe, it's going to be ghetto girls for me
So tell me what's up with y'all
Can you keep it real?
Let me tell you what I feel
Man, let me set your mind at ease
A ghetto girl, living in a ghetto world
I like her 'cause she keeps it real
She lets me know just how she feels
A ghetto girl, living in a ghetto world
She's the only one I need
She's the only one for me
A ghetto girl, living in a ghetto world
I like her 'cause she keeps it real
She lets me know just how she feels
A ghetto girl, living in a ghetto world
She's the only one I need
She's the only one for me

There are two artists with the name Bow Wow, for the Japanese hard rock/heavy metal act (see Bow Wow)

1. Shad Gregory Moss (born March 9, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio), better known by his stage name Bow Wow, is an American rapper and actor signed to Cash Money Records. He started rapping in 1993 and was noticed by rapper Snoop Dogg, who gave him his stage name then signed him to Death Row Records, and in 1998, at the age of eleven, Bow Wow was introduced to record producer Jermaine Dupri, who has since helped shape his career. He has since released six albums, including a collaboration album with good friend Omarion, Face Off. His seventh studio album, The Transition Of Shad Moss, will be released in 2010.

2. Bow Wow (バウワウ) - Legendary heavy metal act from Tokyo, Japan. Led by guitarist/vocalist Kyoji Yamamoto (山本恭司), the band formed in 1975. Started out as a melodic classic/hard rock band in the mid 'til late 70's, they quickly made a name for themselves and were touring with popular acts of the time, such as Kiss and Aerosmith. Yamamoto proved himself early on as an accomplished guitarist developing the "hammer technique" long before Eddie Van Halen made it popular. In the early 80's Bow Wow changed their sound to a energetic heavy metal sound, fueled with powerful guitar riffs and fast-driven baselines. Spreading their wings internationally, Bow Wow played the Reading festival in Britain and the world famous Montreux Jazz festival in 1982. To capitalize on this venture, Roadrunner Records released the "Asian Volcano" album across Europe. Their presence would be felt on the continent still further with the licensed releases of "Warning From Stardust" in September 1982 on the Heavy Metal label and "Holy Expedition" through Roadrunner in July 1983. Both of these records drew significant media praise, initiating the start of considerable fan support in the Western world. Later on, in 1984, when they changed their band name to Vow Wow, they also changed the line-up and style to a more melodic and commercial side. Please change your tags to Bow Wow.

Members:
Kyoji Yamamoto (山本恭司) - vocal & lead guitar
