Ghost In the Ruins Lyrics

Got a limousine, I wanna show it
Future's looking good, I'll probably blow it
Had some parents once, but you'd never know it
Bank roll oversize, so what if I stole itBut, who am I foolin'?
I'm the king of the ruins
But, I'm doin' well tonight
Got dreams to sell tonightGot to belong
Try to hang on
Got to belongGhost in the ruins
I'm runnin' the street scene
Ghost in the ruins
Burnin' like gasolineGhost in the ruins
I'm takin' you in deep
Ghost in the ruins
East side, West side playin' for keepsSee the runway there on the corner
Just a throwaway, but somebody's daughter
Had a pretty face, so somebody bought her
Sellin' her soul away, so put in your orderShe knows what she's doin'

She's a ghost in the ruins
She's doin' it well tonight
She got dreams to sell tonightShe wants to belong
She knows what to do
She's got to hang onGhost in the ruins
I'm runnin' the street scene
Ghost in the ruins
Burnin' like gasolineGhost in the ruins
I'm takin' you in deep
Ghost in the ruins
East side, West side playin' for keeps
Playin' for keeps, yeah, yeahWants to belong
Knows what to do
You got to hang onGhost in the ruins
I'm runnin' the street scene
Ghost in the ruins
Burnin' like gasolineGhost in the ruins
I'm takin' you in deep
Ghost in the ruins
East side, West side playin' for keepsYou know
I don't know anymoreI know, I know that you know
I know, I know that you know
I know, I know that you know
I don't know anymoreI know, I know that you know
I know, I know that you know
I know, I know that you know
I don't know anymoreI'm tellin' you
I don't know anymore
No, no
I don't know anymore
I don't, I don't know anymore

Savatage is a heavy metal/progressive metal band founded by the brothers Jon and Criss Oliva in 1979. The band is known for recording many rock operas. Early on, Savatage was a traditional heavy metal band, who stood out from the pack due to guitarist Criss Oliva's uncommonly heavy riffing and vocalist Jon Oliva's unique vocal stylings. Following the failure of Fight for the Rock, an attempt to commercialize their sound, Savatage began moving in a more operatic direction, releasing a number of rock opera albums in collaboration with producer Paul O'Neill.
