Ghost Requiem (feat. Geri Soriano-Lightwood) Lyrics

You were once a
strange addiction
Hit and run much
greater than fiction
Thought I buried youBeyond matter beyond time
I believe that your are mine
How many times before
Have you walked
through my door
Just to leave me once more
The ghost that feeds
on your heart
has won I must
stop loving you
That thief has taken
your soul and run
I must stop loving youThis lifetimeWas it Daddy's cruel
distracted shadow

Or Mama's quiet remorse
Lead you on this
bramble path you follow
Made you bet on
the wrong horse
The ghost that feeds on
your heart has won Can
I stop loving you
That thief has stolen
your soul and run
I must stop loving youYes here we are
It's a force we
can't conceal
A magnet star
Being pulled by
fortune's wheelYou set a match my house
burned down
Inside your arms
I gladly drown
I was alive again
You were my oxygenThe ghost that feeds
on your heart has won
I must stop loving you
That thief has stolen
your soul and run
Can I stop loving youI must stop loving you if
It's the last thing that I do at this time
Can I stop loving you
I can't stop loving you
I must stop loving youMaybe next time
we'll get it right

Delerium has traditionally been a two-person project, but the only constant member throughout its history has been Bill Leeb. After Michael Balch left both Front Line Assembly and Delerium, Bill Leeb worked with Rhys Fulber...
