Ghosts Lyrics

Here I stand, victorious
The only man who made you come
When you cried, you cried for us
And when we died you died aloneGravity's calling
Don't go home
Where are we?Did what I could for one of us
I always thought it was for you
And when I lied, oh, I lied for us
Because you never heard the truthI'm lying alone tonight
Don't go home
Where are we
If we are ghosts?A long long time ago
(It looks like we could have made it babe)
We are ghosts
A long long time ago
(Me and you)
We are ghostsA long long time ago
(We could have made it)

We are ghosts
A long long time
(Me and you)
AgoLook at the time it's taken me
To get away from what was said
I'll never leave, I'll always love
You know that all those words are deadBuried at yours tonight
Move aside
I'm taking you homeOn the radio she was that 'Summer Song'
Packing them in, making them dance
A law of her ownTaking the time to sing it
I don't need you but I'm lost
Lost without you tonight
Have you no heart?
Where are we?Hold a love like ghosts
(We are ghosts)
They are taking down our satellite
(We are ghosts)Josephine I follow your star tonight
(We are ghosts)
If not tonight then when will she say
We're not ghosts

Robert Peter Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire) is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. While Williams' early pop career started with the hit boy band Take That, he has found far greater success since taking his leave in 1995. Williams has sold over 70 million records worldwide, which ranks him among the best-selling music artists worldwide. He is the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom and the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America.

Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the United Kingdom. He has also been honoured with seventeen BRIT Awards—more than any other artist—and seven ECHO Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted as the "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."

The Candy Songfacts reports that Williams teamed up with his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, to write the first single from his ninth studio album, Take The Crown. "Candy" will be released October 29, 2012.
