Girl Goes To Show Lyrics

What you doing?
See that badly written sign
That says
State your businessWant no undesirables
You got suits in the corridor
Where they belong
Skin's only naturalAnd the conversation's
Strong and easy
In the knowledge
That's as far as it goesTalk all we want
But really nobody knows
And it's one of those things
You can feel it in the air
Try telling that babe
To someone who caresAnd it's all safe in my mind
Nowhere to go
Girl goes to show
And time passes so slow

Girl goes to show
Girl goes to showIt's another day
And oh, so irresponsible
Know what we want
Seems that nothing's impossible
No materials to loseDon't have to wash my hair
Don't have to wear my shoes
As we lay in the shadow
Of what might have beenLook at you now, babe
You're hotter than sin
All those endless nights
I spent on my knees
Sometimes rewarded
For my efforts to pleaseAnd it's all safe in my mind
Nowhere to go
Girl goes to show
And time passes so slow
Girl goes to show
Girl goes to show

Ian Gillan (born on 19 August 1945), is a rock music vocalist best known as the lead singer for legendary rock band Deep Purple. He is considered to be one of the foremost rock vocalists, who introduced into the rock music the vocal belting technique. In his prime he possessed a very wide vocal range which was rumored to be 4 and a half to 5 octaves and with seemingly effortless and fluid movement throughout it and with remarkable force and precision in the upper register.
