Glory Lyrics

(Track 4 on "Dizzy Mizz Lizzy")Welcome to my inspiration
flowers in our hair
the grass is growing high this summer
there's something in the airBut I lied when I tried
and I always seem to hesitateCould this remind you of the sixties
or am I making a mistake?
I mean one guitar a bass and a drummer
that's really all it takesBut I lied when I tried
and I always seem to hesitateSomething's wrong
inside my heart
in the name of glory
she don't care too much for moonlight sunPeace and love and understanding
could make you feel so free
psychedelic vision baby
could be realityBut I lied when I tried
and I always seem to hesitateSomething's wrong
inside my heart
in the name of glory

she don't care too much for moonlight sunLyrics by Tim Christensen
1994 EMI-Medley Denmark

Founded in the early nineties in Copenhagen, the trio Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, consisting of singer and guitarist Tim Christensen, bassist Martin Nielsen and drummer Søren Friis, rocketed to the top of the danish rock scene on the EMI-Medley brand. The band released two albums, the eponymous 'Dizzy Mizz Lizzy' (1994) and 'Rotator' (1996), and especially the first one was a huge success in Denmark and Japan, albeit failed to make it big in other markets. As 'Rotator' failed to live up to the success of the first album, the band decided to part ways in 1998.
