God Wrote a Symphony Lyrics
God placed the sweetest song within my soul
I've heard it now for many years and in my heart I know
It is not an earthly melody, for no human hand could write this theme
It's a song that was written on a cross so long ago
With a single note of mercy it began
You can almost hear the sound of love as nails drove through his hands
When Jesus' cross was dropped in place the music swelled with chords of grace
As the instrument of death fulfilled he father's master plan
The final line was written at the grave
When the stone placed there by human hands divinely roled away
No sweeter sound to mortal ear than He is risen, He's not here
God's symphony was finished on that resurrection day.
God wrote a symphony
A holy masterpiece
The manuscript inscribed
By the blood of Jesus Christ
God's great redemption song
He sings it on and on
To prove his love for me
God wrote a symphony
Aahaaaaaaaaaaa
God wrote a symphony
A holy masterpiece
The manuscript inscribed
By the blood of Jesus Christ
God's great redemption song
He sings it on and on
To prove his
Love for me
God wrote a symphony
To prove his love for me
To prove his love for me
To prove his love for me
God wrote a symphony
