Goddamn Vultures Lyrics

Look at 'emHands out, palms up, shiny stars for eyes
Blinded by their lies teasing tidal tithe
Well I want exes, swollen tongues
Bloated belies for what's to come
Toes up towards the sky
For when that passion diesCome get some, come get some
Come get the throttle
Until the lightning is
Just an empty bottle
All around me (no)
I'm outnumbered (no)
Crawling, crawling (no)
Goddamn vultures
They surround me (no)
My days are numbered (no)
Crawling, crawling (no)
Goddamn vulturesSo what? Yeah! We planned the hangings
You wanna make a big deal with your reality reeking

I see those yellow souls, I hear those flapping holes
I'm cutting 'em one by one just to seem 'em feel on their ownCome get some, come get some
Come get the throttle
Until the lightning is
Just an empty bottle
All around me (no)
I'm outnumbered (no)
Crawling, crawling (no)
Goddamn vultures
They surround me (no)
My days are numbered (no)
Crawling, crawling (no)
Goddamn vulturesIt's so sad, it's so sad
It's so sad, you can't see
It never were and never be
It's so sad, you're scavenging
It's so sad, you can't see
It never were and never be
It's so sad, you're scavengingGoddamn vultures
Goddamn vultures
Goddamn vultures
Goddamn vulturesCome get some, come get some
Come get the throttle
Until the lightning is
Just an empty bottleAll around me (no)
I'm outnumbered (no)
Crawling, crawling (no)
Goddamn vultures
They surround me (no)
My days are numbered (no)
Crawling, crawling (no)
Goddamn vulturesAll around me (no)
I'm outnumbered (no)
Crawling, crawling (no)
Goddamn vultures
They surround me (no)
My days are numbered (no)
Crawling, crawling (no)
Goddamn vultures
Goddamn vultures
Goddamn vultures

There are 2 bands by this name: 1. Drowning Pool is a heavy metal/nu metal band from Dallas, Texas formed in 1997 that rose to prominence while playing along with Ozzy Osbourne during Ozzfest. Their 2001 debut album, Sinner, was certified platinum within six months and the video for its first single "Bodies" was frequently aired on various music video channels. After the September 11th attacks the song "Bodies" was infrequently heard on many radio stations due to the sensitivity of those families' loved ones who jumped from the towers.
