Going Inside Lyrics

You don't throw your life away
Going inside
You get to know who's watching you
And who besides you residesIn your body where you're slow
Where you go doesn't matter
'Cause there will come a time
When time goes out the windowAnd you'll learn to drive out of focus, I'm you
And if anything unfolds it's supposed to, oohYou don't throw your time away sitting still
I'm in a chain of memories, it's my will
And I had to consult some figures of the past
And I know someone after me will go right backI'm not telling a view
I've got this night to unglue
I moved this fight away
By doing things there's no reason to do, ooh

John Anthony Frusciante (born in New York on March 5th 1970) though probably best known for his time as guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, is a respected, acclaimed and prolific solo artist in his own right. Joining the Chili Peppers in 1988 after the death of Hillel Slovak, the band's original guitarist, Frusciante was featured on both Mother's Milk and Blood Sugar Sex Magik. However, John's rise was short lived.
